Dec 17th Meeting – Lighting Mistakes

The “not-so-Good,” the Bad, and the Ugly:
A Review of Product Failures, Botched Jobs and Curious Applications

The Not-so-Good, the Bad, and the Ugly was presented at LightFair, 2009 in New York – it received excellent reviews from the 80 attendees.  Dean Brockob has traveled (with a camera) for many years as a sales manager. During that time he has collected an extensive database of “lighting gone bad”  – botched jobs, contractor goofs, etc. Please join us for this entertaining presentation- You’ll be both amused and amazed how bad it can get!

Our speaker, Dean Brockob, LC, LEED-AP, has  20  years experience in the lighting industry.  Currently, he is director of sales for Energie Lighting.    Prior to joining Energie,  he was the SE regional manager for Louis Poulsen Lighting.  Dean has been a member of the IESNA since  1997  , and is currently President  of the Atlanta  section.  He served on the Outdoor Environmental committee from  2003-2005.  He has presented at IES meetings in 15 different cities.  Dean graduated from the lighting program at the University of Colorado, Boulder.
